Grand Lake Boondocking Question (CAMPING )

Hi,
I know some of you are still skiing and snowmobiling at the "pass/location that shall not be named" but my question involves boondock (dry) camping at Grand Lake.

Does anybody know where I can boondock camp a 28 foot camper in the woods near Grand Lake? We fell in love with the area snowmobiling last year and wish to dry camp/ATV there this summer.

Many of the high ATV/offroad passes in TaylorPark still snowed in and don't want to risk wasting vacation time so figure Grand Lake should provide decent ATVing.

PS We don't do campground camping with our trailer as we feel that is kinda pointless

Head up CR4 (off Hwy 34). Go through/past the Idelglen parking area and you'll find a spot to park and play.
