GPS Tracking System Guardian Mobility ???

Has anybody heard of or used this GPS tracking system before? Guardian Mobility http://guardianmobility.com/Land_Solutions.php
It looks like it might be something to look into but was wondering if anyone had any experience with it. Please let me know.

Sounds like the same thing as the spot. I wonder what they charge monthly.....

Yeah it does sound like the Spot alot however Spot runs off Global Star and I don't like Global Star. So I was just wondering if anybody has used this other one.

I wonder why they don't show you a better view of the unit and how to operate it? Did I miss this somehow? It would be nice to know how big or small it is.

Pricing

I just got some pricing on it. $599 for the unit and then varying prics for messages sent. 450 messages was $310. 4000 messages was $942. Activation fee $80. Maptracs Activation fee $50. So for 1 year basic plan is $599 + 310 + 80 + 50 = $1,039.00 tax not included.

Findeme Spot is $149.99 for the unit. $99 yearly fee which includes unlimited check in messages, $50 for tracking, and $7.95 for search and resuce. = $307 for the year. Tax not included.
