Put the sled in the trailer loaded them backwards. Did sag the yukon down as much loaded this way. and put some stickers on the door and got a heater for it. Need some cabinets and shelves now. any ideas? we have found some gladiator cabinets at sears that might work

How does it tow with the sleds in facing backwards? Mine tows much better with more weight on the tongue.

Serious point...

Thing could be darn dangerous if you dont go out and make a dry run first. I know not only do we have to have them forward but we have to pull the first two up tight in the V nose to get the balance otherwise its a whipping son of a *****! and this is with anti sway bars and pulling with a 1 ton diesel.

going to make a dry run this weekend. with the sleds loaded backwards it sinks the yukon down 2 inches. with them forward it is 4 inches. with sleds backwards it is easy to slide the sleds foward to add more tounge weight if needed.

Please tell me you have a weight distribution hitch and the sway control for it.
Otherwise it looks good and like a lot of fun.
Don't forget the rear end wiggle gets real scary when you're on a sheet of ice:eek:

as for the sears/gladiator products, thats what i did my trailer in. the 30x30 cabinet up front, 2 of the mesh baskets fit tightly on one lenghth of rack, each holding 2 helmets. couple other racks down the side with hooks for shovels, coats, etc. i used full 4' sections for the cabinet and used what stuck out for more hooks for spare belts, tiedowns and such. best investment was the spare tire rack from loadlocker. simple, easy install and gets the spare tire up and out of the way. best part it was under $20.

Got the weight distribution hitch. Do not have the sway control. Have been reading it might not be a good idea on icey roads.
