it's freakin awesome! Prolly shouldn't be so excited but I got it in like 2 days and it's well made, light and add's a vent at the highest point possible. Heat kinda likes to rise. I have one question. I got the additional gauge holders for my turbo guages. They have 2 bolt holes in them but really only need one. Madsigntist what is the best way to mount them, there were no instructions that addressed the extra gauges. Thanks again for the fast service, great price and cool product.

There was somebody else that just posted less than a month ago, he put 2 other gauges right on the top of it, it looked very nice!!:becky:

The pic I saw the gauges were on both sides. There are 2 holes in the extra gauge bracket. It looks like the top of the bracket goes in the top hole and the bottom bracket goes into the bottom hole. But then you have 2 hinges for the gauge lifter. ???

MM,
Glad you're stoked. And sorry for the confusion.
The 2 holes are for more adjustablility & mounting at different heights=forward/backward.
You mount these 2" pods on the outside(sides) of the lifter base ears thru the pivot screw holes. The gauge cradle mounts on the inside of the base ears. Use a nylon washer between each part/pcs. That way you can still tighten everything into place nicely.
Thats what the longer screws are for too. When you don't want to run your 2" gauges, just use the shorter screws.

Does this makes sense? I thot I had this explained in a PM.

Let see if I can dig up some installed pics.

And for anyone that is interested in running boost/AF gauges for turbos, I am now making a specialized gauge cradle that will hold two 2" gauges directly above the stock gauge. Just ask.

Got any pictures of the gauge lifter and gauge holders? Thinking about relocating my Silber turbo gauges to another location but havent found out where yet, so maybe buying this will be the solution.

Thanks.

That is what I am using it for too. Got a Silber Turbo coming soon.

MM do you have the slp intake on your buggy as well? i rememeber there was some discussion if the guage lifter will clear the intake.

Post a pic of the guage lifter! im thinking of getting one myself.

Lets see pic of the 2" turbo guages, if i read correctly, the 2" mounts for A/f and boost mount on either side of the factory polaris guage?
