got a ?

Do you mean getting it higher? You CAN do dropbrackets, but watch out! they can really screw with the geometry and make the sled do wierd stuff in the deep.

What kind of sled? XP, REV, ZX, S-2000, etc.....
Track length?

Droping the rear has allways helped with POW performance. It really screws with trail susp geometrys.

I know on the XP, you NEED to drop the front of the track too. Smitty800 on Dootalk makes a nice drop bracket. 2" in rear I think, maybe more. BUt the front needs to be droped 1" too. If not, to much ski pressure.

When I built my tunnel, I had the rear droped to much. The track was acctually only touching on the back 1/3 of the rails. TOO much ski pressure and too little track contact, It wound NOT move on gravel. and sucked on the snow, diggin everywhere. I lowered the front, and bam, much better performance.

Iv got brackets on my edge. 1/2 of the track is touching the groung and the limiter straps are full tight. Should i loosen the straps to level it out:confused:
Sorry if i high jacked your thread rather be ridn:o:o

Never played with your combo, BUT, if you do drop the front to low, one CAN allways tighten limeter strap. Each person rides different adn expects different performance from a sled. I, personally think,"get the track DOWN into the POW ASAP"

got drops?

I have smitty's drop brackets on my 06 REV love them. Set up the suspension how he suggests and you'll be fine... plus he custom engraves them for ya.

big take away for me was. soften the rear end up a little and loosen the limiter strap by one positon and the ski pressure lets a bit. This thing is built for steep and deep (the above stuff and sway bar out plus more) so i'm not too concerned with trail manners. kinda tough to have a sled that does both great... although i have a cat buddy that would claim to have it all.

good luck

CAT guys dont know know better

But ya Mtn or trail?? Real hard/impossible to be perfect on all terrain. In massive POW, I set my sled SOFT, to absorb all bumps. BUT, un good conditions, need somne preload to take the hits and to force track to the depths of he!!
