my wife wants to learn to carve and ride more offtrail this year. so i found a used 2005 m6 141 with 1800 miles that was owned by a 63 year old that only used it on the trails and took great care of it. the sled looks brand new in every way. got it for 3800.00.
i just changed the diamond drive fluid, hyfax, carbides, belt, etc.
is there anything i should be looking for or doing particuarly for this sled to make sure it is tip-top and ready for the season. i am pretty new to cat sleds.
thanks.

thats a real easy sled for her to throw around.stock set up should be just fine.
make sure you change and inspect the dd at least once a season
the only problem that sled had that i am aware of, is the hose and clamp to the
front heat exchanger by the dd will fail at some point.

Will the M6 pull the cat gold spring in the primary? She would love that, off-trail. Maybe the AC orange and a shift assist in the secondary. Some new running boards with big holes are nice. If it still has the attack-20, she'll hate it on the trail, you'll love it off-trail.

we live in michigan and ride mostly in central up so there isnt a ton of hills or big country, but there are tons of meadows, swamps and play areas. so our "offtrail" is definelty differeant than the wester backcountry riding.
this is mainly ging to be a secondary sled for her to use to play with as she wont give up her well mannered f6 lxr. the track on the m6 was changed to a 1.5" before we got it, so that is a pretty good track for her and what she wants to do and i dont have to worry much about her over heating it on the trails.
mainly i dont wnat to do anything to this sled except let her enjoy it. i just wnated to make sure i have done everything i can to make sure it stays reliable and in great shape. looking for anything i might of missed in the maintainace or must check catagories.
