gopro 3 silver no sound

My new gopro has very faint sound when in case, If out of case only every other word is heard. I have an email to gopro, been waiting several days for reply. Any help would be great, I'm using a Lexar high speed 32 gb 10 card

My hero 2 makes everything very quiet when it's in the case too. I don't know if it's normal or not. I've compared it to some vids on youtube and they seem to be about the same as mine.

I set it to wumbo and it works great. I tried using it more and seems to work good now thanks!
