So

Im making my mtn IQR a jumping/mtn sled so i need a good solid drop bracket for when i install my 146 assault track. Any suggestions?? Also i need a tunnel extension on the cheap. Anybody make one or have one i can buy?

Thanks

Grant

Grant, I know its not cheap but i would definitely recommend the VanAmburg Tunnel extension with the built in bumper. The frame of the bumper runs all the way into the existing tunnel for extra support. And i hear Meathooker makes some killer drop brackets if u want to go that route. Good luck man!

i have made a few extensions. 136" for the iqrr and 155 for the iqr's. i could make a 146" for you if you dont want to go with a whole new tunnel (although that would be sweet)

i also replied to your PM about the drop brackets. im doing a batch now if your still looking.

here's a few pics of a 155" extension i did. this one is made out of .080"

This is a very long shot but you wouldn’t happen to have an old pair of drop brackets for a 146” would you?

No but I could make a set- I still have the CAD files
That would be awesome. I’m still reading through all of these to see if they’re actually necessary. I’ve read about people installing them without the drop brackets. Do you have first hand experience w/ them? Or also where to mount them exactly? It’s seems all I’ve read is trial and error so far, at least without the drop brackets. How much for a pair?

You need a very small drop bracket to run pro/axys 155 skid, basically just right below the bottom of the tunnel. Make sure to run the front down one hole

It’s been 15 + years so I don’t recall the exact dimensions but I used the c to c from the 155” skid for mounting holes. The bracket rests up against the bottom of the running board. Iirc there are two different mounting holes but I’ll have to check the cad file at wrk next week.

Right, I understand how they get mounted. The problem I have is finding out where they get mounted for optimal track footprint/angle/bite.

hey Meathooker, just bugging you about the drop brackets! Let me know how much they cost and whatever else you’d need from me, thanks
