Good ride, video attached.

Great job and the snow looked awesome.

A few years back we spent two weeks in Alaska and happen to go through Turnagain Pass, Awesome place!! Hatcher's Pass was pretty cool too.

SWEET

That was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The camera was set nice and high also! Looks like you have to keep an eye on were you are going, like that last 20 to 30 foot drop off that drift!

Thanks for the comments, it's a great place to ride on a day like that.

Yeah that could have been BRUTAL in flat light, whoa : )

There are a few holes to look out for. :face-icon-small-ton

Nice area, great snow and sunshine, probably riding with a perma-grin :face-icon-small-hap the whole time! Would have liked to see you take the last windrift on, found myself anticipating a big drop at the end. Did you guys try boondocking thru those awesome snow covered trees? Nice video, thanks.

Sweet vid. I really like the point of view from the post on the front of your sled. Would you mind posting a picture of how you mounted it? It looks very sturdy.

Big drops are not my style, I try to avoid those. The snow around those trees is usually blown and crusty. Plus those trees are tough as hell living on that ridge.:face-icon-small-ton

Here's version 1.0. It tended to whip side to side a bit. It worked good for stills but not video. I added a piece of 1/2" square tubing for about 2/3s of the height. Works good now. Light, cheap and stores under the hood.

Takes some killer stills:

Ya, I know what you mean on the big drops, tough to heal up if things go wrong. That's why I was hoping I could see someone else doing it, lol. I was just curious whether you ventured into the trees, I see your point, especially when you've got all that good snow in the open. Besides if you hit one of those hearty trees :fear::smow: you'd probably be buried under a ton of snow. Great job on the video, you're blessed to be able to live and ride in that state.

Thanks! Clean looking mount. Just one wingnut and she pops right off?

My XP's front end isn't as open to hide brackets etc. I'll do some brainstorming and figure something out.

I love that still. Fun shot!
