In town just for the day, my flight to Deadhorse departs at 9:30AM Sunday.
Definitely going to check out Mooses Tooth, sounds damn good.
Dang I was gonna buy you a beer, but I'm out of town til Tuesday. Maybe next time!

These places get my vote as well! Can't beat the pizza and beer! BrewHouse is my fav place too!
Awesome steak, try Club Paris.
Arctic Roadrunner has great burgers. Plus, you're right across the street from The Peanut Farm and not far from The Great Alaskan Bush Company. Try their beaver.

it' been pretty lousy so far this year. got hit with a couple big storms before and during christmas but the temps are low 30's right now. island park is starting to get good, so at least there is snow in the mountains.i used to live in eagle river and work in anchorage. where are you at?
A 3rd for Mooses Tooth. best in town hands down.. Peanut Farm is sweet too

I live just north of Eagle River near Peters Creek. Hope you guys get a fair share of snow to carry you through the season. It's working up to be 5 stars up here.

Yeah but it's expensive!! I don't know the exact price per beer but I only got 4-5 and spent $100 last time I was there.

Glacier Brewhouse is pretty good food, their jambalya fettucini is my favorite dish there. Pretty good beer too.
Mooses Tooth has the best pizza and beer in town, great place. Cant go wrong with this place.
Bears Tooth is owned by the same folks as the Mooses Tooth and have a more diverse menu (awesome burritos and their guacamole with chips is the bomb), cool thing about the Bears Tooth is that they show movies (just out of the theaters but not out on video yet) there and you can eat dinner / drink some beer (same great beer as the mooses tooth) / and watch a movie.
Simons and Seaforts has really good food with a good bar too.
