Good People

[Uphill]

I think that snowmobilers are good people but, I have to give it up to white water rafters.

This last weekend I got hung up on a little rock, low water 300 cfs, had to leave my boat to get some hardware. When I got back, 3 day later it was placed on a beach just below the pin. Not sure how it got off.

I had to equate this to going down a chute, blowing a motor and having to bring in a new motor down to get out.

I just want to shoot some props out to good people out there, your true friends.

My business has been struggling for the last couple of years and last summer was particularly tough. We have just barley been hanging on . A ranching family that I have done repairs for in exchange for hunting rights heard that I was having a hard time so without even saying a word they had an entire beef processed , packaged the works. The first I hear of it is when the fella form the processing plant shows up at my shop and wants to know where he should put it. Needless to say I thought he was in the wrong place and thats when he told me Tommy and the boys wanted to make sure I was still here to fix their equipment. Let me tell you I am teared up thinking about it and when they show up I drop whatever and fix there stuff first . I have always done the little they ask for little or nothing and just tell them I want to bring the kids hunting when its time . I never expected anything like that .When Times are tough the good people make it bearable . They will never know how truly blessed they make me feel.

Helping others!

Not that big of story like the others but...
About 3 weeks ago I was on my way from Minneapolis Mn to Fargo ND.
Left Plymouth @ 1pm only to be held in traffic because of a wreck in one lane 15 miles ahead of me. It had taken me 1 hour and 45 minutes to get from Plymouth to Monticello(usually 30 min). 3 lanes of traffic crawling at 2 mph, we have all been there right?
Anyways going along on the most left inside lane, I start to see a car pulled over on the right overheating, running slow in traffic, get up a little further and I see another one on the left side. Keep going and I see a motorcyclist on the side of the road. When I got up to him I asked if everything was OK, he said yes, and I asked if he overheated, said yes and I asked if he wanted to load it in the truck, he said no, I will let it cool and let the traffic clear out and he will be on his way. I handed him 2 ice cold bottles of water out of my cooler and he was very happy. Karma is a great thing. If I were in his siutation on my bike I would have wanted the same type of help.
Things always come back to you in the end.
