Heres an article that says we will be entering a cooling period. Hope that means for better winters.

The (honest) climate gurus have known for some time that general weather patterns in the northern hemisphere are on a roughly 30 year cycle.

The winters started getting rougher around 1943-44 and the 50's and 60's were known for rough winters. I was a kid during the infamous blizzard of 73 that hit the northeast. Then in the late 70's things began to warm up and by the mid-eighties winters were noticibly less harsh, and by the mid-nineties (a few big storms aside) much of the northern US was going without snow for most of the winter. Over the last 10 years winters were iffy, even here in Alaska, but now the experts are saying that since 04 the Pacific Decadal Occillation began to shift back to a cooling cycle and voi'la'...the northwest and the rockies are getting big dumps again.

If the weather trend holds true and the next 30 winters are in fact snowy (and the greenies don't win), given the performance of today's machines we just may be on the cusp of the greatest era of snowmobiling ever. And personally by the time things warm up again I'll be too old to ride anymore (or dead...either way it's a win for me)

Things were noticeably warmer in the 90s when the greenie movement really took off. The political cycle moves much faster than the weather and has the amazing ability to ignore reality when said reality contadicts their political agenda.

Why do you think the big push for climate legislation. If they don't get it thru now people will start to catch on. Its not about climate change its about control.
