I am shocked at the number of posts some of you have that are leaving. A guy that only posts up a few now and then isn't going to be missed as much as the guy who has posted over 1000. That is the information we need on this site. Sad to see you go but I do understand.
Well, I'm not about to say good bye(yet), but I am not going to pay. Initially I too felt very offended and alienated by the comments made in the PM Maize was speaking of, but then again I ultimatley chose what I want to take personally, and what I want to blow off as propaganda. To date haven't spoke up about my discontent regarding the changes that have occured so I can't really make an impact now, not that it seems any of the people making logical aguments were truely listened too by the "powers that be". It was on this collison course since the conception of the idea and there was no turning back.
From what I have found, I am still able to do enough with my new "free member" status. I can still read enough within the first 50 posts(as long as this isn't going to be reduced further), except for of course the regional forums in which I look at almost daily to see what the riding conditions are like. All of the current info is cut off sooooo, start a new thread and voila! As long as some of the people who haven't paid as well as those who have are still trying to work with this site co-operate, we can still get up to date info on our riding areas and not feel alienated for not paying for info that if I was pushed further to, I could find elsewhere.
So for now, I will try to work with this site, and see how it goes...

If you start any kind of thread about riding somewhere they will move it to its respective riding area forum. they've been working awfully hard to make sure info isnt in more than one branch of the forum. just stating the facts here bud. dont get mad
Right you are.If you start any kind of thread about riding somewhere they will move it to its respective riding area forum. they've been working awfully hard to make sure info isnt in more than one branch of the forum. just stating the facts here bud. dont get mad
I am still starting the thread in it's proper location. I have already done this in the Western BC thread to get updates on the riding conditions in Revy. Just like if I was looking for info about the type of sled I ride. If it is buried past the 50 post threshold, I'll start a new thread inquiring about the info I need. I don't believe there are any rules reguarding this. And don't worry, I'm not mad.
And when that happens, and the user who started the thread gets a notice from the moderator that moved it, I suppose it would be asking to much to just nicely reply back to him/her requesting that it be left in the original place with an explanation.oh, and chris, before you go and jump all over me about the moving of threads and what i mean by it, i mean when you post somthing about riding in montana in the "general snowmobile" area, which if im not mistaken, would generally refer to someone snowmobiling immediately gets moved to the montana thread, then people that dont care about montana riding dont see it. maybe forum newbies need to be policed a little more, but when people that know what they're doing post stuff usually dont fuk up and put something in the wrong place. might seem wrong to you guys, but i guess a perfectly working and happy online community seemed wrong as well.........
