Since Dans probly out riding and I'm stuck on a beach in the Mayan , I'll shed a little light on the down aspect. All chutes are usually scouted from the ground or air if possible. 90% of the time they top out on a ridge line so a safe landing is available. There are a few cases of "Razorbacks" where one usually has a good mental note of where to park once topped out. Personally I have come down 1 with hair rasing experiences. The rest for me have been a ride around on a good ridge line. I have never used a chopper after a full pull as scouting a line and safe zone landing is key for what I attempt.
Dan is the nuttiest of them all, so once he gets on here he may comment on his experiences which I know are many.
Safe sledding and check the line prior to any attmept.
Dan those look great.......hope the snowpack allows what I think will happen
