Gonna climb some chutes

Since Dans probly out riding and I'm stuck on a beach in the Mayan :face-icon-small-fro, I'll shed a little light on the down aspect. All chutes are usually scouted from the ground or air if possible. 90% of the time they top out on a ridge line so a safe landing is available. There are a few cases of "Razorbacks" where one usually has a good mental note of where to park once topped out. Personally I have come down 1 with hair rasing experiences. The rest for me have been a ride around on a good ridge line. I have never used a chopper after a full pull as scouting a line and safe zone landing is key for what I attempt.
Dan is the nuttiest of them all, :face-icon-small-ton so once he gets on here he may comment on his experiences which I know are many.:face-icon-small-coo
Safe sledding and check the line prior to any attmept.
Dan those look great.......hope the snowpack allows what I think will happen:face-icon-small-hap

6 days of riding and filming in the Norns near Castlegar, found 2 new lakes, Roy lake and white lake between the airport and Jokers Knob... all north facing chutes, still deep in most of them. Dan Gardiner, Phatty, Rick Barker, Ryan , Smasher, Nathan, Chad, Jeff, Justin, and Doug.

Pictures to come, but here's the story... I've climbed between 10000 and 17000 vertical feet up some never before climbed chutes... in 6 days... total over 25000 vert. climbed with the chopper and the cameras... blue skys and excellent snow... The Krazy jumpers have free fallen an easy 1000 vert feet... the most epic week of filming in my life. and we still have 3 days left...

this chute has 4 exits at the top.. found 20 never before climbed chutes up the Norns, BUT most have been done, still 5 left... Also the face of Ladybird has finally been climbed on a CAT, only a beat up 944 union bay powered Mountain Max ever climbed it... The Twisted Turbo M800 Krazy Sled 2 gotter done in some deep conditions at the top.

very small teaser up at www.krazycanadian.com

First climbed in TS6 by myself and Stanger, There's 4 ways out of the top, you can see the left 2 exits, Doug and Justin did the easier of the left 2 exits. not sure if anyone wants the hard left exit...

Looks like a point and pin-it. :couch2:

yes point and pin it and get 20 feet of air off the top, or take a hard left and out at the top or a really hard left and side er out the side, or a hard right and up the wall, Always looking at the excitting more entertaining exits, and there always is a harder way to the top if you really look ...

I guess you can pick which camera angle does it the greatest justice!!!!

BUT, it's not the middle shot. LOL

Any pics of the "Crazy Californian"???

Sic Pix Dan... You gotta come down to Sandpoint and ride the new Timbersled snowbike... Maybe Allen will build you a Hyabusa turbo with a 174 on it... now that would be a chute monster.

"Canadian".... I stop breathing just looking at those pics! CANT WAIT FOR THE FILM!!! Heres one out in northern Nevada hasnt been taken down yet...
