In short, it sucks still!!!
Went out on Monday and rode the basic loop around the lakes. Not much snow and what is there has a crust on it. Felt like may not Jan. Dropped into Jamison. Looked like we were the only ones in there for good reason. Not much to climb with huge rocks everywhere. Got real lucky coming out. My track started ratcheting bad. Got so bad that we ended up towing it out at the HWY and blew the chaincase into about 30 pieces. The bolt on the lower gear came out broke off then lodged under the gear and shattered the chaincase. SOOOO lucky it happened after we got her out of Jammison Lake.
If you do go to Gold, be SUPER careful until we get a few more feet
