Gold Creek update

Ice Cap, Moonman and I went and tested the new powder this morning and it was off the hook!!! I'm calling it officially Gold Creek Season, we got off road without any problems, the base is finally set and it was DEEP!!:D:beer;

We went into the Swan lake area and it was so fluffy.....when you hit the y and take a right, the bridge was not in yet by the lake crossing the creek but it won't be long. Visability was weak so no picts, but the one's in my mind watching powder shot after shot in the face and trying to wipe the goggles while keeping speed and carving so we wouldn't hit any trees....

One the way down, it was a 10 mile backup heading into the chain up area....glad we went early. And I gotta say, my new sled rules!! What a difference from my ZX....

Man it must of gotten really good up there, I went up there on christmas and the only spot I could find that was fun was on the back side of the tower, but it was my first time up there And dont know where to really go.

P.P. and 2zeros in da House

YD,Moon, and Ice.............great seeing you. 2zero's and I had our fill of deep powder today also up along the hillside on the way to the tower. Lot's of tree magnets to avoid. I am so sore and whooped. Some pretty big drifts in areas.

P.P.

Did Stamp side today with MOB and Super Dave. Wow, you are right Rob. Pow over the hood! Burned a full tank.

Sounds like the treetops I was pulling out of my tunnel on Sunday might finally be covered in a firm layer of snow - and then more powder...

I'm taking off Friday, anyone up for trashing the powder before anyone else gets to it on the weekend?
