So for all of those who thought it was raining up at Gold Creek Thanks for staying home! It was Great day at least 10" of soft fresh and between 9 and noon another good batch of at least 6"of snow fell! And on a different note I am wondering who has the for sale sign up on the Warming hut? A Hut built with no forest service permit can not be sold and the FS has been keeping a blind eye on this hut but a for sale sign will change that fast! By Law any structure built on Forest service land without a permit has to be removed but they the forest service has been taking the Sgt Shultz approach of I see nothing I hear nothing! This is not good and who ever posted the Sign needs to take it down or the FS will take it all down!

The sign is a joke... It was over on a different area of the trail system earlier this year, must have been stolen from somewhere else.

That Warming hut has a FS badge on it if you look around on it, it's Bona Fide

Snow looks nice, were you able to go off trail at all?

Had to drive up about a mile past the new asphalt and the Hut as per the forest service guy i talked to is not approved by the forest service they are just taking a "its not hurting anything we dont say anything"

The Forest service guy i talked to also said that the Price creek snowpark will probably be around for at least the next 5 yrs!

how tights the road turning around? we might go up trailering a 2 place, if we dont have a sled deck is it gonna be a problem turning around? i feel like if theres alot of people it could get tough

There were 4 place trailers turning around so should be good.
