going to revy for first time

my wife and i are heading to revy for first time end of feb i am wondering if it is hard to get around out there, where are some places to ride where a couple of flat landers won't get into to much trouble ? I have asked a few people and they say boulder is one of the easier places to get around, I want her to have fun as i convinced her that we'd have more fun going to revy than to mexico still don't know how i did that, any and all advice will be great

Yep boulder for sure, and Frisby as well. Boulder has a really good trail system to get up top and also up top as well. Just take a GPS co-ordinate at the cabin so if you get confused, you just head back to it. Lots of play areas and tracks, but pretty much one main trail going all the way back to turbo hill right now (at least there was). Biggest thing is don't drop over any thing you can't climb back up out of. Once up top it is flat and she can stick to the mellow areas if you want to play off on a little hill or something. Here's a pic of the top of Boulder last Saturday.

We just got back last night from our first trip to Revy. Rode Boulder, we marked GPS points in case, and did use them to find our direction back to the trail/cabin. Pretty easy to get turned around in there when you venture off the trail but we had to explore to find some untracked. Good area for all levels of riders. We had 10 of us - men and women, variety of ages/abilities and everyone had good rides.

We stayed at Glacier House and it was really good. Nice cabins, hot tub, food was good and the easy access to the trail was especially nice. Parking and riding from your cabin was a treat. Some people haven't had a good experience at Glacier House, but our group all found it great, depends on when you go and how busy they are perhaps.

We'll be heading back there soon, if we're there the same time you can tag on with us for a bit. We have a couple women riders that would be good for your wife and we got to know the area a bit in our few days there. I know my husband is always more comfortable with someone with us.

Boulder is good with an excellent trail system up. I have found the women in our group who are not interested in climbs find Frisby Ridge more enjoyable. The trail up Frisby is as excellent and it will take you to the top with all sorts of riding areas along the ridge that are easy to drop into and climb out of. Boulder has some bigger climbs that spook our wives the further we go into boulder.

Also if you are staying at Glacier House its at the base of Frisby which is convenient for some. They have had a massage therapist there in past which the wives always enjoyed after a day on the mountain.

I suggest trying both Boulder & Frisby if you have the time over two days and make your decision from there.

A gps is nice if you've never been there and one can get turned around on the mountains.
