We are going to be riding april 1-5 in revelstoke. is there any must ride areas and where do you sugest riding. we are not trail riders and are pretty good mountain riders. we are staying at the revelstoke lodge also. realy excited for this trip:whoo:

You'll love Revy! Boulder and Frisby are the two main groomed areas. Boulder is huge and on a clear day is fantastic, on a foggy one a lot of people just sit around the cabin when in fact there is some great tree riding to be had. They have trail maps at the trail pass sales shack in the parking lot. Frisby is long and narrow, can be good as much less people, just respect the caribou closure areas or we all get in trouble. Sale is about 22 km north of the SuperSave/Frontier and is an ungroomed but nice ride (respect tenured areas, so stay left at the top). There are other areas noted on the trail maps. Zala's is the place to go in town for good steak & pizza, Great White North pub just west of Revy is a good spot too. Enjoy & ride safe!
