Going to Colorado Springs,need info.

Going to Colorado springs in April. Need to know if there is still riding that time of year, how far to any good riding, where to rent sleds if need be? Thanks for any info. Northeast rider here so never experienced real off trail mountain riding.

Just head up to Buena Vista or Salida, 2hr drive and they rent sleds there.

Ditto, there's cottonwood outside of BV, and marshall and monarch outside of Salida.

Amount of ridable snow varies from year to year. 2 years ago, the 1st week of apr. was the last I went riding, most years I'll ride into 1st or 2nd week of may.
