I have a torsional secondary clutch on my boosted M8. I just shattered my 3rd set of Rock Rollers in 1200 miles? Is this common? Is anybody having more success with different rollers? Nylon ones? any help would be appreciated?

Cheers
KK

I heard someone mentioning something about those rock rollers and durability issues. The cpc ones are supposed to be better. They include them with their torsional secondary.

Cheers Guys thank you.

are the CPC ones different from the stock Nylon ones that come with Cat now? because they look identical??

Yes the CPC rollers are different from Cats new rollers.

The CPC rollers are off white colored Aero space plastic of some sort and hold up very well.

I would like to hear from Kelsey on this since he sells or offers the rock rollers with his kit. I would imagine he's put lots of miles on them and could offer some advise on keeping them from breaking. One question those of you who have had them break are they on high HP sleds IE turbos

NO issues on turbos or High HP sleds... Every once in a while one roller will fail but not very often....

Keep in mind. ALL the different torsion conversion kits are not the same.. different designs, different loads on the rollers..

Torsional twist secondary kits are hard on rollers no matter what you try. Will no longer use them myself and despite what the makers of them say, electronic reverse won't always work properly. JMO

Thanx guys. put some stock ones back in to give them a try. i have never used stock ones. It has been rock rollers right from the get go.

I was having the same issue.

My STOCK 2010 was shattering the stock rock rollers from arctic cat all year last year. I went through 5 sets every time I blew the rollers I wasted the helix at the same time. Arctic Cat warranted them every time but told me that something had to be wrong with my sled since no one else has been experiencing this issue. Alignment was correct and no broken motor mounts or anything. I just ordered a RKT secondary hoping that solves my problem...
