Goggles?

At the snow show and saw those SCOTT 89xi Turbo goggles there.......these new ones have a light sensitive lense that they say you can even wear at night as the lenses are that clear in low light......then when its bright and sunny they go to their "amp blue" color.

Just wondering if there are any users of this product out there........debated on the 509's and checked them out....looks like they have made a few design changes this season.

The light sensitive lenses really intrigued me.......scott seems to always have a consistent product.

Thoughts???

those turbos have been around two seasons....had em last year and know a few who have them, they work great when its snowing or wet, but something goofy in the lens starts to show a few funky spots, its hard to explain, but they work great......whatever that means, have a few buddies to tossed some 509s after the first ride, fog fog fog

I have a set of Scotts with those lenses. They are great at night, and killer on a bright day. A little darker than I like inbetween, but not bad. Sure beats carrying 2 sets of lens or goggles.

509's computer lens is great, cuts down glare and shows really brilliant colors............

X2 on what Hatchers said.
Under certain light conditions the spots on lens drive you crazy. I stopped using mine. I still think the goggles are good, just ditch the lenses.
