Goggles

I must have a super sized head.
I can't find a pair of goggles that are not equivalent to looking thru two empty toilet paper rolls.

Problems I have is no peripheral vision and I'm looking directly at the piece of goggle that sits on your nose.

Any recommendations on a pair with better vision

Please keep the jokes to a minimum

My oakley wisdom goggles are pretty big and wide and dont block to much. One question though. Is this your first time to wear goggles? Because they do take some getting used to because they will all block your peripheral vision no matter what ones you end up using.

Electric EG 2

Look the Electric EG 2's up on the internet. They are really big. took some getting used to when you first wear them but they are huge and are super easy to see out of....

I admit, I'm from northern MN where the trails are fast and the temps are cold.
I have tried open face helmets here and find them cold and noisy with bad visability; so I ride with a NMFH

I will be going to the Snowies in March, I understand the benefits of a open face in the high alt's.

You could try the 2009 509 films goggles. They are the largest I have used yet and are comfortable. Now any of my others seem narrow.

Lok at Scott brand made for fitting over glasses ... OTG style goggles.

Other brands work well.

Here is something that I have run into in the past. When you are standing still and looking through the goggles, you are focused on the goggles. When you are riding, you are focused through the goggles at what is ahead of you. Also make sure that you tilt you helmet down into the correct position on the front. That way the goggle fits correctly. Try that and see what happens

Scotts have always worked well for me, oakleys always wanted to fog up and didn't fit to my face very well. Hope you figure it out!!
