I work for a well known optics company and many of you are correct. No one thing works for everyone and nor will it ever...... To many face shapes, perspiration levels and a whole ton of other factors that come into play. A lot of times what I find is the operators are the problem...... One of the biggest things to remember to buy a goggle that fits your face not your helmet. If the goggle does not seal correctly your face it will fog!!! think of the foam as a gasket that seals the eye port from the outside world. If you have a leak cold air will leak in to a warm space and create a fogging issue.
The past few years a ton of people have been sold on large foam to prevent cold spots on the face. Unfortunately this can cause an issue with the foam deforming due to the shape of the helmet. This may or may not cause a leak at the foam. Another major issue is getting a chunk of your face mask in between the foam and your face, this to often causes leaks.
At the end of the day don't get caught up on brand as much as what fits and what works for you!!!
