Goggle lenses?

What tint of lense do you guys find is best for those low light, blizzard, crappy vis days?

I found myself having a heck of a time trying to see throughout the season in low visibily weather.
wondering if a good lens/goggle can help with this.

Persimmons, vermillion. Any yellow or orange will be beat. Avoid anything with a lenses flash(mirror coating) and avoid gray tints at all cost on snow.

I can post more when I get to a pc and off my phone.

Best one I've used is the Sensor Mirror by Smith. Their old sensor I didn't like that much, but my new Smiths came with these and I loved them, till I lost them. Would be sitting in back wondering why the guys were all stopped in front of a tiny ditch, cause they couldn't see how big it was and I could from the back of the line.

I have the Haber vermillion and really like it a lot. I always take two sets of googles. One for bright weather and one for flat light. I've tried the 509 yellow lense and it worked good until it had scratches in it (didn't take long). I think it was tougher to make out lines in the snow with the yellow compared to the vermillion.

I wear orange lenses without any chrome/mirror finish for low/flat light conditions. The mirror finish looks cool, but really reduces the clarity of a straight tinted lense.

I've had great luck with Oakley's:

VR28 Black Iridium

  • Light Transmission: 28%
  • Conditions: Flat to medium light
  • Protection Index: 2
  • Neutral / Contrast: Contrast

VR50 Pink Iridium

  • Light Transmission: 41%
  • Conditions: Overcast to Partly Cloudy
  • Protection Index: 2
  • Neutral / Contrast: Contrast

Hi intensity yellow?

Anyone tried the high intensity yellow lense from oakly?

They say its for low/very flat light...

It all comes down to personal preference. The optic orange with a flash lens from Habervision is a good all round lens covering you from low light to bright days very well. I have even been caught after out after dark with the optic orange lens from Habervision and was able to find my way back to the truck. This year we rode a lot of very flat light days and I found a yellow polarized lens with no flash worked extremely well.
