Gotta go work BUT I sure would like some pics of someone enjoying the snow when I surf the web during breaks

Right now this morning computer models show H2O next 72 hours

SHASTA getting 2 plus inches
Tahoe getting 1.5

Temps at 7000 feet 4 days and high 20 night next several days

Eureka /Oregon Coast around 3 inches

NORTH Tahoe area is 1.5 inches H2O
Shasta 2 inches H2O
Oregon east 3 inches H2O
McCall ID north 1 inches H2O to 1 inches to BC
West Yellowstone 2 inches H2O
SLC 1.8 inches H2O
Colorado 1-2 inches H2O
Seattle area 1.4 inches H2O

There is an awesome TRIPLE LOW pressure system sitting off the west coast.

UNFORTUNATELY a high pressure system is building up in the northern states making the low pressure system slide south while out over the ocean and then drop a fraction of the water it would have if unobstructed from from the high pressure ridge.

So the water amounts for these next few days revised by at least half than it was a couple days ago.

Eureka /Oregon Coast around 3 inches

NORTH Tahoe area is 1.5 inches H2O
Shasta 2 inches H2O
Oregon east 3 inches H2O
McCall ID north 1 inches H2O to 1 inches to BC
West Yellowstone 2 inches H2O
SLC 1.8 inches H2O
Colorado 1-2 inches H2O
Seattle area 1.4 inches H2O
These numbers identical to the earlier post today.

Did do some riding lately at Mt. Rose, that day, and yesterday !
On the 30th. the snow was super light, almost ( no it was) baby powder light even if it looked settled!
Yesterday on the new snow that fell, it had some weight, not a lot a lot, but enough to get better traction from a stiff springed secondary.
