Some may already know this, but this is what I did after installing after-market rims/tires I already had set up from another trauck to get around the TPMS on my '09 Chevy. I swtiched tires/rims do to the OEM Bridgestone Duravis On/offroad "commercial" traction tires suck.

It's 1 1/4" schedule 40 PVC and currently holding 65psi and fit perfectly in the left rear door compartment. Also, I had the dealer reprogram the TPMS at 55psi so I could run lower pressures when not towing. This isn't 100% fool-proof, but so far it's working.

good idea

I just told my tire dealer the other day it was my goal to get those in the cab. Getting tired of staring at the tire with the (!) flashing in the dash. Winter seems to not be their friend unlike me.

That is only on the half tons and 3/4 tons right? No TPMS on the 3500s?

I finally broke down because on my new Ford I was sick of the pressure light always on. So I took all my sensors out and threw em in my spare tires and pressured it up to 80 psi and bye bye light.

This will work for about a month or so. When the TPMS sensor batteries die, then you will get errors again. The constant movement of the tire keep the batteries charged.

I guess you can just tape them to the inside of your rim for a few minutes to re-juvenate them,,\

I'm a lil confused...You made this pressure chamber to fake your TPMS system, but then said you had the system reprogrammed to a lower pressure? I have an 07.5 D-Max runnin Toyo MTs @ 55 psi and the light was on so I had a dealer lower the pressure threshold so my system still works and the light is out. The mechanic at the dealer said leagally he wasn't supposed to change it but he was cool about it and did it in the parking lot and didn't even charge me :face-icon-small-coo
