gluing broken side cowl piece

Anyone know which glue will adhere well to bond on the plastic tang/post that holds the upper, aft RX-1 side cowl. It's the tang closest to the cowl latch and has broken clean off.

I can't stand it when they use tangs instead of screws. In cold weather they always seem to snap.

Thanks.

I recently fixed a post on the apex gas tank cover used this found it at walmart seems to be holding real good so far. I also used it and mesh to fix a hood on a summit 670 and worked great.

My post actually ripped right off. If I have any issues I think I will just drill a hole and use a screw and a self retaing nut like the rest of the panel.

Heres what I did, went down and got a 1/4 inch stainless button head capscrew, with a hex. Polished it. drilled a hole where the plastic stud was. then got a piece of 3/8" aluminum rod 5/16 long and drilled a 1/4 hole in it to make a spacer, then a couple of 1/4 inch stainless fender washers. So the whole mess bolts in like this

BAM----done works great and looks cool. They do not break....lol....
