Glue question

Need to replace the small piece of cast aluminum that goes into the running board that bolt to the foot rest. I see it is glued in and has one rivet. What's the trick to removing it. The local Polaris dealer said I had to buy a whole new running board.. Seems ridiculous. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Wes

pics help alot got any? Get in contact with Polairs pride in the swap meet section he deals with used parts.

2014 Rmk Pro. Not my sled it's a buddy of mind that I hit with my sled. I will upload a picture.

The problem is the ends are not sold separately by Polaris. You will need to find someone with damaged or take off boards. It will be likely easier and quicker to replace the whole board than to try and find someone willing to sell just the end casting. Just my 2 cents

I had the same thing happen to my 13. Landed a little hard and snapped it. I too thought of just getting it out somehow but LoudHandle is right, polaris doesn't sell it separately. I just took mine to a buddy who has a tig welder and he welded it right up. I powder coated it and haven't had any issue with it all year.
