I grew up about 60 miles from lake Erie. As far back as I can remember, one year everybody was whining the lakes were going dry, five years later they were running over, going dry, running over. In the eighties they seriously considered digging a canal to let the overflow from the great lakes run into the Mississippi River. I remember Salt Lake and Utah Lake were almost over I 80 and I 15. Last I knew they were low again.
How much common sense does it take to figure out that most every thing in nature runs in cycles.

Last evening , here in West Yellowstone, we had about 2 inches more "global warming" come down, on top of what has fallen earlier this week.

Yes, The Great lakes go in cycles just like most things do. People use that and capitalize on it to make $. Too bad it's just so main stream and affecting most people and the lives they live. Whoever thinks everything will remain at a constant is naive.
