I believe it did last season, and the new people are supposed to be great.
amen... could be a great place with owners that would try just a little.
I was there last season and it was the same ****ty owners...i will never go back from what they charged and the service you got
same experience here thats why at the end of last season when it was listed for sale we where hopin someone picked it up and it would be better

Yes Prairie Dog is 100% correct. I phoned there this morning and asked the hostess if Alex was still the owner, she said yes and that it still had not sold yet. Talked to the owners of Peaks and they seemed very helpful and friendly.

WOW! If this is the same Alex he and his family own Beaver Lake Lodge just North of Kelowna. Basically a family oriented campground with fishing boat rentals, tackle shop and rental of rooms in a rustic lodge. They also rent out about 14 cabins for the winter season. We had one for a about 3 years. They bought this place about 10 to 12 years ago and they did a beautiful job of fixing it up and actually making it one of the more popular family outing destinations in this area. I'm very surprised to hear that Glacier House isn't doing well under his ownership. He seems like a great fellow. Apparently no shortage of cash either. Rumor was that their family's purchase of Beaver Lake Lodge was the final stage of their quest to own property on every continent on the planet. Can't believe everything you hear though!

i was there two years ago for the ski doo vic ride and everything was great! greasy breakfast in the morning....pub food at night... cold beer... and lunch made for you in the morning for the day...what more could i guy want? maybe some strippers in the lodge??!!! will be back in march of this year and cant wait! anyone know of any more good lodges around sicamous or area? Looking to book one more trip this year in febuary!

x2 on that, i think we might do what a group from sask. did, hauled a barbeque with em and made lunch on the deck
i see the gh thread on snow and mud got pulled, lot of people having the same experiences, common theme's to bad could be soo nice
