Black Hawk, CO, near the intersection of 119 and 46 facing the divide. Each piece of blue tape is a foot.

Has all the makings of the storm of 2003 when they kept up-ing the amounts in feet. When it was done it was 1 foot over my deck rail.

If the power stays on, the cam will stay up but we have been flickering already. enjoy.

I'm guessing at least 24" over here in Pinecliffe. Power is on and off. Letting up a little now. Been fun plowing the driveway. If it keeps going until tomorrow I'd say 4-5 feet pretty easy. You still own a sled Steve?

40 inches in canyon?

i heard CC got it pretty good duke, you agree?

You guys got shelled in the '03 storm too, that canyon must be favorable to big snow events, very jealous. we are right on the edge of a Bananna belt and i continue to be amazed how just 5 miles from the house it's always twice as deep...

yep, still have the 06 Summit 1000. We went out riding last night all over the county. Most of the side roads were almost impassible. Went up to Roosevelt Ridge and immediately got stuck it was so deep. It was hard to ride last night because the snow kept covering the lights. We rode 119, lump gulch, travis gulch, s beaver, wedgewood, and gilpin gardens. It was great. Sherriff stopped us to talk to us. He laughs and said " you know it is 'technically' agains the law to ride these out here" with a big smile. We said yep we know, he said ok you guys have a good night and be safe... hahah It is great to know all the sherrifs. hahaha probably try to get out later today or tomorrow. I got a lot of snow to clean up around here yet.

Oh yeah! We led the state with this storm, officially Rollinsville got 56" and Pinecliffe got 52!! I have been f'n digging out ALL day. Hopefully can play some tomorrow.:beer;
