I also wanted to make one more plug for the Villas at Giants Ridge. They are offering a Hillcross Special for us racers – buy one night get the second night half price. If you have a couple of people to spilt the Villa with you, its like $60 for the entire weekend. These are top notch lodging and more like a townhome than a hotel room. The Short Bus from R bar and Vi’s Pizza picks up and drops off right there all night for us…so no driving is necessary. You can see the race hill from your front door. We stayed at Giants Ridge for a week in Nov., top notch accomadations at a great price. Wish we could make it.

I'm going racing this weekend boys! (finally, ugh!)

Turns out my sled issues are the CDI somehow got whacked in the crash.

Anyone have an Ski-doo 06 or 07 600mod CDI that I can borrow or buy? I will need one to race. Send me a PM asap if you are going to be there and have one, or I can pick up anywhere between the twin cities and there on the way.

Update on Kevin Bird (birddog).

Up on the hill when I was with him he was talking but hurting pretty bad. I talked with him a little last night, and he has a broken back (T5) and neck (C7). Last night they thought he was going to have surgery today. Today I talked a little with his wife Jackie and word is that they are going to try a brace first.
 
Thanks for the update - 4 years ago if I would have never thought our rider would attacked that hill like he did I would not have believed it. We wish Kevin the best! The competition is unreal. We snocross most of the season but the Hill Xr's are a whole different breed. They all race so hard!

good to hear kevin, thanks for letting me beat u one race this weekend lol, hopefully it will all be healed up and ready to go for next season, or else set that sled up for watercross and run some ovals
