I have never been to one and my son and i watch it every saturday night.
so i decided to get tickets on Monday.
They went on sale sale saturday and of course other than nose bleed tickets were left monday. Plenty of tickets to other sites.
Pay many times more that face value thru stubhub. Maybe this is the norm but what a racket.

We got ours through ticketmaster 2 months ago, we could take our pick of the seats we wanted, actually have a group of 30 all sitting together in two rows. Good seats, think it was $30 or $35 a ticket? Don't go through the supercross website, they are twice as much. The reason the race comes to MPLS once every 5-6 years is because the turn out is so low. I hope this isnt the case this year and they can get it back next year but I would be suprised if tickets are hard to find.

figures

thought i read they went on sale on 3/22 oh well not like i do it everyday.

there was nothing left for tickets on the ticketmaster site?

I didnt know that is why they didnt come here very often.

Is that correct an empty monster can will get you into the pits?

Yes empty monster equals free pit pass.

to be honest even the nose bleeds will be money well spent. Definitly give you a good view of the track.

Also there is just something about being there that is worth it. Heck I will admit I enjoy watching the race on TV more because you can see stuff closer than at the race. But you can't smell the race gas, feel the bikes fire up or get your pic with the Monster girls sitting at home.

How old is your son? If he is under 18 I don't think he will care where the seats are he will just care that him and the old man are at the race!

Hope you make it out. I will be there with my wife and a bunch of others including our oldest daughter for her first race.

He is going to be 18 this year. (:face-icon-small-sad)

Been on a bike since he was 7.

I got the tickers yesterday. Just b!tching about the cost.
section 109 half way up. Dont go to it very often so i ponied up for some good tickets.

Too bad i wasnt closer to the whoops to see bubba have one of his famous get offs.

Nice!

I don't recall where our seats our, just told the father-in-law to get the same as last time. We were upper level but the very bottom row. Only thing in my way was a stupid tv camera.

I went to a supercross race at the Seattle Kingdome back in the early 90's when Jeremy Mcgrath was god. What a show, absolutely blew me away. We got the best seats in the house, hanging over the railing right in front of the triples, cost $20. I'd love to go again, hands down the best motorsports event I've ever been to.

empty monster can got you into the pits free.

Had a super fun time. Our boy Ryan D pulls it out in front of the hometown crowd. Would go again, fun stuff.

We walked by some monster energy girls, my 17 yr old said they dont even look real.:face-icon-small-sho . Holy shat are them some good looking girls.

Even if your not into motocross, you would still have fun.

A good friends son made it to the heat races for his first time there. It was fun seeing him on tv, even though he got pushed into the bales on the first turn. Neat to see a kid living his dream. #500 Colton Hildreth.
