Getting my first real sled! tonight Hopefully

Hey guys, im 15 and im getting my first real sled. I 2000 summit 700 highmark. i ride motocross but have never had a decent sled. I used to have an old bravo 250 and it was way to small. I rode my dads buddys 2006 summit 800. It was crazy. I loved it. My other buddy sleds to so i can go to the mountains with them. We live only like an hour for the pine pass.


Sorry im blabbing on but im really excited. O by the way, anyone have any problems with this sled?

wow, a teen thats NOT on an 800 big bore 163 w/ n2o ... etc

should be a good sled to get started on.

there are mods that can make that sled work better.

but for now, oil, gas, n pull..

mods that work: skid set back, riser to fit you..


oh and make sure you have FUN!

Ride safe and have fun. Not sure where you live but get somebody to teach you about avy safety too. Post pics of your sled when you can. And remember don't ever, ever, ever, skip school to go ride

You'll have a blast with your new sled.
I rode a 2000 Highmark 700 for 5 years and I still miss it sometimes.
It was a very reliable sled and easy to ride.

Alriiiight! another ski-doo guy! I rode cat for about 9 years then I bought my first ski-doo in Aug of 2007. I have an 02 summit 800 highmark 151" - Great sled! Hope you like it, ride safe! Ill be riding mine for one more year.

Bad news guys, the sled sold. O well, Theres a 1999 rmk 700 with a 136". I know i cant ride the mountains till spring but o well. If the rmk is any good ill buy it and throw some rox 5 inch risers and slp twin pipes

I know of a similar sled that a certain 16 year old has for sale in Boise, ID. I've watched him rip on that sled!

Im a arctic cat guy.. but the 1999 700 is a screamer. id buy it if you can get a good price on it. Many have just beat the living dog crap out of them and they keep on running. a+ sled for motor. If u put a 144 under there ud have a sweet boondocker.

not that there is anything wrong with the rmk you want but be paychont ? its only sept, there will be something out there that will be exactly what you want right after you buy your september sled ,

only speaking from experiance .

My buddy has over 7000 miles on a 99 RMK 700 (everybody rides it for a back up ) and has never done any major work on it! It's bulletproof

Slow down sunshine if U shop a lil U will find the sled U originally wanted locally. Don't justrunout and buy the next avaiable sled!!! Hit the bargain finder there are a couple in there............
