Hi all - I recently purchased a left over 09 800RMK 155 (w/ updates, not 1-14 flash). I have read a lot on here over the past few weeks, many thanks for all the good info. The mods I'll be making are: gas rack, ice scratchers, PCV from DynotechJim, pink exhaust springs, and 10-58 or 10-60 weights (riding 8-11K elevation). Not looking to make any other major mods to the sled, but want to make sure I'm as prepped as I can be to keep it running.
Among a lot of other good info, I have read a lot on protecting the VR and ECU (and all the other good stuff on "Increasing Your IQ" sticky. I am not ready (foolishly or not?) to do the fan for the VR, but do want to make sure I have checked all the wiring. I have heard of, but not read specifically about how to check/repair the hand warmer and taillight wiring. Help there would be appreciated. Any other tips also welcome!
