getting more out of a polaris 700

i am just wandering what i can do to get a little more power of of my 04 switchback 700, everything under the hood is stock except a boost bottle, which really does nothing i think, so if theres any bolt on componets or tweaks i can do to get a little more out of it id be greatly appreciated to hear about them thanks

take the boost bottle off.... put an 800 top end on it, dial -a -jets, talk to SLP or fastrax about clutching, and re-do all of your clutching. I would also take the tss-98 secondary off and go with a tss-04 secondary, (some say the 04 isn't as good in the mountains but i have had better luck with them)

Then put the sled on a diet, set up the suspesion better, gear it according to how you ride, high(ER) comp head, and maybe a used SLP SINGLE. Also, clean the exhaust valves and while you are doing all of this, do your self a favor and balence the primary. Thease engines LOVE to eat crank bearings which usualy ends up in a scored top end, and a damaged case/crank.

Had an 02 700. Easy power with an SLP single (I ran it with an mbrp silencer). V-forceIII reeds helped the bottom. SLP air horn and gut the box, add some vents in the intake area. Jet and clutch accordingly. Pretty simple and affordable

Stage One:
-SLP single
-Mill head (call Fastrax)
-TSS04 Team Secondary with 58/38 and red/black spring or Button secondary with SLP 50/36 MOUNTAIN helix and SLP Yellow/Purple spring.
-19/41 gearing
-Dark blue or Black/white primary spring and weights for your elevation (10-60's is a good starting point)

Stage Two:
-All of the above except for sub the single for SLP twins
-Have Fastrax or Ruth Power port the jugs.
-Replace stock head for .SLP billet head with highest elevation domes, regardless of your elevation (you will have to mix 50/50 av gas)

You will get the most out of that 700
