Gen2 136 to Edge 156 Conversion help

Donor Sled - 2002 Vertical Edge 156
Franken Sled-2000 RMK 136

Ok, so I picked up the track/rear skid suspension....

My next question....is there anything off of the 02 Edge chassis that will work on my Gen2 Chassis in the conversion??

My RMK is at my brothers house so I don't have a side by side comparison right now....

The tunnels are different so the extension wont work on the gen 2.

Why just use the edge chassis insted of swapping all the parts to the gen 2? If the engine is bad in the edge, it would be easier to transplant the gen 2 engine. Save your self a lot of time insted of trying to make the edge parts fit the gen 2?

I don't have the whole 02 Sled...it's a craiglist parts sled.

From what I've gathered, the track and suspension will swap right on (redrilling skid mounts) and adding an extension will make it all work...I was just wondering if the rear tunnel extension and/or rails will swap as well....

Looking like it won't.....

You can make it work. It all depends on how much work you are willing to do.

Ok I see, I thought you had both sleds.

You are correct, it will bolt up with some re-drilling.

As for the extension, Van Amburg Enterprises makes one and I believe SLP does also.

you should be able to make the kickup section work,just match up the stock genII to it cut off what you dont need ,by the way itl take you a good long time to remove all the rivets with a drill just grind the heads off from the inside
