I have a rmk 800 with a slp can,I have jetted for 2500-5000 ft,i have replaced needle n seats,rebuilt fuel pump,dropped needles 1 notch.it runs very rich low to mid range.it uses about 10 gal gas in about 35 miles..that is twice as much as my 800 mtn cat.I am riding western washington,thanks for any advice.

Call slp. Talk to one of their techs and do as they say, I'm running a lot of their products on my sled and with every new part I called them up, and rejetted as they said! They will even give you the rite clutch set up to make the part work at the rite rmp! Best thing I ever.did, local shop really sucks, all money, no help! Ps... live just over the hill from you on the dry side
Have you checked your pilot jets and screws?
I have 55 pilot jets and air screws at 2.5 turns.the only thing unchecked is reed valves,would that use more fuel than normal
