Geiko insurance... do they do Snowmobile

I looked into that last year as Geico carries my auto insurance....

I was told by them that they contract through Foremost which is a division of Farmers Insurance... so I went to a local Farmers office.

You can get it 'through' Geico, but it's not really them.

I tried Geico as thats my auto also. They wanted over $950 to insure my 900.

Went to State farm and now have full coverage for $185 a year.

State Farm is the way to go! Ive had them for quite awhile now! U get the same coverage as anywhere else for a lot less money!

I have Foremost and have not had any issues with them, they are the cheapest when I was shopping around but I think that has a lot to do with not owning a home.

FYI, foremost has really nasty cancellation policies (IE, if you cancel in the middle of a term, they try to nail you for the full term)

For me progressive was much cheaper than foremost, but if you can get state farm to cover you on the sleds, they're the cheapest.

State Farm by far. I was with Progressive at one time and was paying twice as much as I am now with State Farm.

i go through statefarm and pay like $33 a month. and have totaled 2-3 sleds....

foremost has always treated me well, but i cant stand the inappropriately dressed air head'd gals in the local farmers office. they drive me crazy. so i am also looking towards geico as my autos are through them. but have heard great things about state farm so i think ill give them a call today

I would reccomend state farm. We own a towing company and they are the easiest to death with for us as far as insuring our vehicles, and dealign with them as a business to business.

State farm is the way to go, I pay 27 dollrs a month for my sled.I have been insured by a couple of diffrent companies and state farm is best.

do your research ASK QUESTIONS. the larger discount insurance brands have some really funny fine print. for instance....

wether it is your fault or not, YOUR RATES GO UP. act of god, fire, theft vandalizm.... YOUR RATES GO UP. anytime they pay a dine to you, for a claim.... your get the picture.... YOUR RATES GO UP.

this is from someone from within the industry. DO YOUR HOMEWORK, EDUCATE YOURSELF, DONT BELEIVE THE SALES HYPE, AND DONT BELEIVE THE AGENT. verify this with the carrier before signing on the dotted line. it will save you in the long run. ski

i just shopped 6 different companies today and ended up with nationwide insurance on my sled. GREAT rates compared to everybody else i shopped and good customer service on the buying end... we'll see if i ever have another claim how they are on the other end.

When it comes to insurance, it's important to shop around for not just price, but coverage as well. Not all policies are created equal and not all carriers are good to work with when it comes time to handling a claim. Progressive..cough cough!

Each carrier has their own underwriting guidelines and will price each individual situation differently. That's why there is no carrier that will always have the lowest premiums for everyone.

For me, I found Allstate provided the best combination of coverage and premium and they have a great reputation for when you need them the most. Shop around for the coverages you want, compare the price/coverages and the companies and then make your decision.

Hope this helps!

The Millions and Billions of Geico ads that saturate TV, Radio, Billboards, professional sports, probably print, the junk mail to my house and

it is misspelled in the thread title.
