Gears and chain

Just bought new gears and chain for my sled. Went hyvo now im wodering what do I torque them at? Went to the dealership the guy said he doesnt torque that stuff just put some locktite and until he figured it was tight enought.Anyone have the specs on this??

I do the same with no lock tite and have thousands of miles and have never had one come off. make sure you put the lower gear in the correct direction and don't use the spacer if the gear set came with one.
 
I torque everything...........

I might be a little OCD on this kind of stuff. The manual says 35-40lbs for both top and bottom. I use the cotter pins for sure too. -00's
 
if a bolt or nut had direct pressure then I like to use the torque value if it only has a side load the I'm more incline to use the old school "torque it until it's tight" method. you most likely could run this without the nut and ride all day:D
