If you go from a 9 tooth driver to a 10 tooth does this give a lower overall gear ratio?
Also I'm looking for extravert drivers to fit a snowhawk with 2.5 pitch I have a # off the old driver but can't get it to come up in parts diagram BRP414-8826
Thanks les

More teeth on the drive gear means a higher overall ratio.

thats not 100% true, you can have less drive lugs and the same outter diameter driver, like say diffrent pitch drivers and tracks.

10t has a bigger length around the outside of the driver over a 9t GIVEN THE SAME PITCH, one revolution of the shaft with a bigger driver means more track gets pulled per revolution of the final drive.

bigger diameter driver means higher overall final drive ratio
