Gearing with 7 tooth drivers

I just changed my track to a Challenger Extreme 162/15/2.5 with 3" pitch and went with Avid 7 tooth 3" pitch drivers. My sled is a 2010 Nytro 162 MTX SE so I think I have the 18/40 gears right? Last year top speed was about 92-94mph.
Should I be gearing up? How much will I loose with the Avid drivers? Anyone know how much smaller they are or how much they'll gear me down?

Arent stock drivers also 7 teeth 3" pitch? My 2008 mtx was.

Yes all nytro MTX's have the 7 tooth extros to start with. Moving to the Avid didn't change your gear ratio at all. You should still be fine.

Okay thanks guys, good to know. I was under the impression the stock drivers were bigger, my bad
