I do boondocking and hill climbing on my 2000 700MM. I have Bender pipes on my 700. I think the sled has more in it. I was wondering what are the best gears to run or what you think & why??? THANKS :D

Just an FYI your clutching can effect your setup just as much as gears.

On my '97 w/ Power Inc end dump pipes. I am running a 151x2 track with 9 tooth drivers and 19/42 gears. It will pull your arms out up to about 60 mph. Perfect for my style of ridding, boondocking, trees, and climbs. I am not into the drag racing stuff.

I run 21/42 on my 2000mm. seems to be great for climbing and all around. Not much top but about right for mountain riding. I am running the 153" X 2.25 track. Excellent track for the sled. ALSO HAVE 2 OTHER MM with 156" and 151" tracks. They all work but I like the 153" prob best

Are you are running the 8 tooth drivers?

I'm running the stock 21/40 on my MM 9t w/144X2 and Viper 9t w/156X2.
Clutching is the first place I'd start, see where your belt is running on the sheeves when wide open and if you have more room to go then change that set up first.
