gearing help please

Looking for a part number for an 18 tooth top gear (i have reverse if that makes a difference) it is for an 08 Apex MTX, i found one number but not sure if it will work with reverse, the number i found is 8FA-17682-80, i assume i should go to a smaller chain also, what is the suggestion for that? Thanks for any input.

68 link chain with 18 top gear and 40 tooth bottom gear, reverse doesn't matter.

Why are you going to the 18? looking for more low end TQ?

Yes looking for some more bottom end, i have a 19 tooth right now, and my speedo still says over 100mph top speed, i really dont need that much top end, but bottom end tq is always good.

Yep....I like to be Quick, not Fast. I'm going to leave the 20/40/68 I have for now.

ordered it up today thanks for the info, destroyed my stock track a few years ago, tore it in half (i dont have any boost) went with a 2.5 CE pretty happy with the track.
