Does anyone have the chart or know what gearing combo is possible with the stock chain on the 2016's?

Thanks

Does anyone have a chart with cat part numbers for diff chains and sprockets? Does cat make a 20 or do I need to go aftermarket? Thanks. Contemplating trying out 20-49 on my '16 162x3"

Highest is going to be 21,49 and you have to add the yami manual tensioner.

I think I'm missing something. I believe the 2012 came with 21,49 didn't they? So the auto tensioner should work? I'm starting to second guess myself. If I'm wrong do you have the yami p/n's Thanks

for the 16 BW gears and chain
2602-824=20t
825=21t
874=48t
875-49t
you can fit 20/50 and 20/49 and 20/48 with the stock chain. 20/50 requires the manual tensioner or you can run it without as the chain fits tight. and the others will fit the auto. you can also grind some off the lever side of the auto to make it fit.
even tho the chain and gears are made by BW it will NOT interchange with the team hyvo chain or gears.

You cannot fit a new '16 stock chain with 21/49 gears on the auto tensioner. I tried already. Requires manual tensioner. I used the one off the Cat 7000.

What was the issue? I have been running the 21/49 and want to make sure I didn't miss something before it explodes.

Really, on a 2016? Was the chain brand new? I couldn't get the lip of the auto tensioner to go into the teeth by a good margin. I literally could have run no tensioner at all with the 21/49 gearing. That's how much tension was on the chain. It took everything I had to even get the gears and chain on. Chain was brand new when I tried it.

Yes 16 I move the clutch in reverse which loosens the chain. Installed and set at about 15 clicks i think the service manual said 5 but felt to loose.
