Hey guys i did a track swap on my sled, i went form the stock 144x2x16 2.52 trakc to the camo x 150x2.5x16 3.0 and im wondering if my gearing is ok?

Stock my 05 x had 19/45 in it with 10t drivers.

I wen to a 8t 2.86 driver and 21/45 gearing.

I ported the track (3 1.25" holes per pitch) and removed every other clip so the rolling weight is down about 2-3lbs less than my stock track.

I also took 56lbs off the sled so its a tad bit lighter than stock, if that makes any difference?

Let me know what you think,
-Jesse

I think you are going to be close. I went from a 151 to a 162 last year, I also went from 2.52/10 tooth drivers to 3/7 tooth drivers. I am running 21/45 gearing which with the longer track and smaller drivers is about right. With your somewhat shorter track and taller drivers I think you will be right on.

you are in the ballpark

I did the same 150 2.5 track with the 8 tooth driver so far preety good I am running 21/45 gearing mite be changing belt temp seem pretty good so mite go to 21/47 if the belt temps go high on me
