Gear Question

I took my gears out of my chain case some time ago and am just getting back to that part of my project. I've got 3 sets of gears laying on the bench and some misc washers, nuts, bolts, etc..... Is there a washer behind the bottom gear that that comes stock on a 900? I'm putting in new gears and don't know if one of these washers is for my 9, or some other sled that we have tore apart? Thanks for any help

Install both gears without washer. Lay a straight edge accross the outside of both gears and check for them being parallel. Add spacer where needed, probably behind the lower gear. Secure top gear with nut and cotter pin. Secure bottom gear with bolt, washer and blue loctite.
