Is cat providing the lower gearing update for the 1100 turbo sleds? My dealer doesn't seem to know anything about gearing for the 1100's. If Cat isn't offering something are there any aftermarket gears/chains out there to lower the ratio a little? I know I could go to 7 tooth drivers but I just wanted to swap in some more robust/lower gearing while I am in the chain case installing the manual tensioner.
None is offered and we are geared the same as the 2014
only the chain is offered and that is reduced price @ $60.00
There are others offered ( Clutch and clutch guard) but this referring to the chain case
Just talked to my dealer again today. He told me the 2014 1100 turbo has different gearing in it than the 12/13 models. I tried to look at the parts fiche to confirm but the 2014 parts are not up on the site I use. Is my dealer on crack??
OK. Thanks for the clarification. My dealer has a new guy that I am dealing with and while he has very good intentions I think it may take him a while to get up to speed with the product he is working with.
when my dealer got back from the meeting with cat they told him they were in the works with getting some drivers for the 1100ts at a discounted price of course.
not sure when though, but thats what they told him
