Gates Extreme Belts

Wondering how these kevlar belts are working. I'm getting sick of paying $140 for factory belts and have heard a few good things about these belts and about 1/2 the price.

I searched and found what little info I could find on these particular belts and have heard they can explode without warning. I have also heard people not having any issues and are very happy with the belt.

Anyone have any experience with them?

I know two people that have run them on there M1000's, They had no complaints about them. But they did not match up with there clutching "I can remember if they are the same compound as the 060 or 046" but it changed 200 RPM's.

I was never able to get them to run right for very long. I started losing RPM's after a while and a switch back to the OEM belt corrected the RPM issue instantly.

They would make a good cheap backup belt, but I wouldn't plan on running them long. I got a couple of rides out of them before the RPMs started falling off.
